Wrapping Techniques: A Natural Look

Craft Wrapping Paper

Craft paper has many benefits when it comes to wrapping gifts. You can use it as crumpled paper to pack and pad any fragile gifts, you can use it to wrap boxes and as a substitute for plastic wrap around smaller baskets and packages. In this case, I’m using this versatile paper to create a natural looking present.

What You’ll Need:
  • Craft paper

  • Dried Flowers

  • Scissors

  • Tape

  • Ribbon

  • Twine

Gift Wrapping Supplies

The goal of creating a wrapped present with a natural, organic look is to make it look just as spectacular as a bright and shiny present but with muted tones and a bohemian flair. To create this look, stick to a color palette with similar tones. Here I have mixed neutral ribbon with brown craft paper and fair dried flowers.

Dried Flower Gift Wrap

After wrapping the box in craft paper, then add ribbon and flowers. You can add flowers by tucking them into or behind the ribbon wrapped around the box. Here I have wrapped the box twice with craft paper, with the second wrap having a folded edge to hold flowers.

Adding beautiful wrapping to any gift just heightens the anticipation of opening it. No matter how you wrap your incredible gift, add a touch of excitement with great wrapping!

Very Happy Merry!
